Dave Ludlam

Power, Control and Safety Engineering Consultant

Dave is a chartered engineer with a background in instrumentation and high integrity, real-time industrial control software. He has extended this technology to be used in the advanced control of major theatrical installations.

 

He takes responsibility for the electrical power and control systems for stage engineering, stage lighting and other theatre installations. With his background in control and computer engineering, Dave contributes to the planning and specification of these complex systems, which now have to be very advanced in order to comply with international standards.

Dave is responsible for the preparation of Employer’s Requirements and other documentation and ensures contractors’ compliance with relevant standards and regulations. He is involved in the practice’s major projects and also acts as Project Leader on selected jobs.
